Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the international affairs` coverage in the news and current affairs programs of the Bulgarian National Television (BNT) and the Bulgarian National Radio(BNR). The study aims to find whether the two public broadcasters perform their public function, understood as providing correct, meaningful, and diverse information about international events and ensuring pluralism of views on international issues. The question of the possible dissemination of ‘fake narratives’ is also elaborated. The article concludes that concerning the BNR, the answer to this question is entirely affirmative, while the BNT still owes its audience in terms of the international affairs` coverage.
