Summary/Abstract: This paper focuses on a text about a dispute between Panagiotes and the Azymites, an Orthodox work that was written about 1274 in Byzantium against the ecumenical council of Lyon and the reunion of the Eastern with the Western churches. The Greek text was translated more than once in Slavonic milieux. This paper considers a copy of a translation as it survives in manuscript no. 53 kept in the Russian State Library, Grigorovich collection: a Moldavian manuscript of the sixteenth century with Middle Bulgarian orthography. A diplomatic edition of the text is provided.
