Summary/Abstract: The monograph contains findings of a two-year research in which a team of authors analysed development of physical activity and nutrition programmes for pupils in primary schools with a research sample of teachers from 33 primary schools across the Czech Republic. The quantitative part of the research focused on description of general trends and identification of functioning and malfunctioning elements of the process in question. The qualitative part sought to find methods, forms and interventions applied by schools when developing correct physical activity and nutrition programmes, including differentiation of individual school years and types of schools. At the end of the book, prospects are outlined of physical activity and nutrition programmes being implemented in the primary school curriculum and in the preparatory or further education programmes of primary school teachers.
