Summary/Abstract: The main aim of the current publication is to analyse the education process of language for specific purposes (LSP) teachers in Poland. It is an important issue because in the increasingly globalized labour market the ability to communicate in a foreign professional language is extremely desirable and graduates of language studies are increasingly employed as LSP teachers or in-company tutors in corporations. The monograph contains contributions by researchers representing various research centres. The collection of research results and individual experiences of the representatives of various languages and specialties made it possible to present the area of LSP teacher training from a multifaceted perspective. Thanks to this, it was possible to outline the directions in the development of this subbranch of didactics in Poland as well as to define a set of didactic and soft competences that each future LSP teacher trainer should possess.
