Prof. Boyan Dzhonov's scientific research are studies related to Bulgarian-German relations and connections during the early and later Middle Ages, therefore this collection has selected and included his works that belong precisely to this field.The studies are divided into the following subgroups: studies related to Proto-Bulgarian studies, studies related to the Cyril and Methodius mission in Great Moravia, studies dedicated to Bogomilism, and studies related to mining in the Balkans.
