Summary/Abstract: The Franciscan monastery in Fojnica influenced, to quote the author's own thought, over six centuries not only church but also domestic history. It was "the main center of Bosnian Catholics, especially in today's area: Travnica, Banja Luka and Bihać, as well as a significant part of Sarajevo, i.e. for the greater part of Bosnia", as the author writes in the preface. The faithful kept their eyes on this monastery during accidents and misfortunes, church leaders, bishops and state officials - provincials - dined in it.
