Summary/Abstract: It is 20th jubilee edition of CeSID's "About Elections" edition, which was launched in 1997 with the aim of offering citizens, as well as the professional public, a detailed and complete overview of the electoral processes in Serbia and Montenegro (until the 2006 referendum). This edition also represents the best testimony about the dynamics of political changes in Serbia, electoral volatility and the consequences that were and are still being left by the application of various solutions from the electoral legislation. The fact that we are presenting the twentieth edition is in itself the best proof of the political crises we have been going through as a society, because in developed democracies there would hardly be more than a dozen election processes for the same period.
