Summary/Abstract: An original attempt at systematizing the terminology used in official documents published in the Polish language by European Union institutions and the “brusselisms” forming in parallel – the equivalents of EU terms that appear in standard Polish. A corpus of EU terms has been used for the analysis of structural and semantic relations between the original words usually created in English and/or French and the neologisms coined in the Polish language as a receiver language.
