Summary/Abstract: The book rediscovers the works of Aline Réveillaud de Lens (1881-1925), a French writer and painter who, since 1911, lived and worked in Tunisia and Morocco. In her works she portraited Maghreb and North African women. Three categories – orientalism, colonialism and interculturality – have been used to show the dynamics and uniqueness of her texts and paintings.
