Summary/Abstract: The ”Psalms” is a collection of poems-prayers which is part of the Bible: many of them are included in the Christian Liturgy of the Hours and have therefore a central role in Christian worship. The present study is not focused so much on the religious content of the Psalms, on the peculiarities of their texts or on the different melodic formulae used in chanting them, but it is rather based on the consideration that Psalms can be regarded as examples of transpersonal, intrapersonal and interpersonal communication.
