Summary/Abstract: The author develops the use of multimedia thematic presentations in teaching how to build oral statements, referring to its adaptation to the needs of Chinese students at Shanghai International Studies University, SISU. The main aim of the presented concept is teaching how to build longer oral statements, which prepare for making monologues. While working on a presentation, a student has more tasks to do: he has to prepare a plan, learn how edit the text in Polish and how to interact with the listeners and – what is probably the most important thing – how to describe his world, so different from Poland, in Polish.
