Summary/Abstract: Clinical psychologists and therapists look with amazement at the challenges brought by the technologies brought by the internet and more recently, by the pandemic, and examine with caution but also with professional curiosity the new approaches of the psychotherapist-beneficiary (client) relationship. Human interaction in psychotherapy takes place both face to face and at a distance for various reasons. Support and content in the client-psychologist relationship are key concepts in psychotherapy. For this reason it is natural to ask whether these are possible in distance therapy, considered by some authors to be an impersonal therapy. The present study wishes to receive an answer to this question as well as to the clients' motivations, advantages and disadvantages of online psychotherapy in the opinion of the beneficiaries of this form of human interaction and proposing suggestions for improving online psychotherapy.
