- Summary/Abstract:Like it or not, cultural awareness across nations is becoming a must for all, individuals, managers and employees alike. Understanding cultural differences between countries and organizations seem to become a very difficult process with many concepts that are increasingly relevant today. There are good frameworks and models for national and organization culture by Meyer, Trompenaars & Hampden-Turner, Edgar Schein, Denison, Hofstede and others. Anyone today, could try to understand cultural differences even if you do not ever move to another country. More than military, political or economic power, culture has had the greatest impact on the world. The globalization of culture, allows people to communicate more with each other and learn to see and understand other cultures and behaviors. Migration plays an important role in spreading the phenomenon. Although migration, a growing phenomenon, has as a possible effect the loss of cultural identity for newcomers, globalization can also allow the convergence of cultures, not just divergence. Convergence is most easily achieved through art, film, sports and even work in multicultural environments. The integration of the cultures of the countries of the world into the world system leads to the development of modern means of transport, infrastructures, economic and social relations. Culture touches almost every aspect of human life on earth. Cultural implications are critical for succeeding in an international context. Lack of intercultural sensitivity can offend, alienate, and perturb people from different countries. It has a negative effect on any activity. Understanding cultural differences and intercultural communication allows individuals to adapt their skill set to meet the intercultural collaboration needs that global businesses value. Understanding cultural differences teaches us to know when to listen, when to ask for help, and when to speak. Better understanding other cultures improve our ability to communicate with others in many ways that lead to positive outcomes. Research on cross-cultural communication often focuses on understanding how individual differences influence our ability to communicate with others. Since most individuals grow up within a single culture having to interact with others from a different culture or background represent a challenge. We invite you to this

- Keywords:didactogeny; teacher; inappropriate teacher behavior;
- Summary/Abstract:Didactogenies, as they appear daily - as states that exert unwanted effects on students (psychologically, medically and / or pedagogically) - are directly related to those fundamental moral qualities of the teacher that form its inadequacy. It has been found that teachers who have conservative beliefs, anti-democratic ideas and feelings, are rigid and resistant to change or have a tendency to avoid dialogue, are less concerned with understanding how students perceive the learning situation and solve in an appropriate manner various school problems. Such a teacher can only be disliked and rejected in his attempt to collaborate with students. We can say, therefore, that the educational process can be productive only if the teacher applies in practice character traits compatible with the basic requirements of this process. School success cannot be registered where the teacher shows egocentrism, cowardice, hypocrisy, indifference, unjustified pride, emotional instability, insufficient self-control, injustice in appreciation and / or hatred towards work. Such a teacher has chosen the wrong job and must leave it voluntarily or be determined to do so

- Summary/Abstract:The article interprets the problem of the relationship between psychological defense mechanisms and coping strategies (coping behavior) in adolescents, which are considered the most important forms of adaptation for individuals in stressful situations. Psychological protection is an unconscious psychic mechanism, meant to minimize a person's negative experiences, to regulate their behavior, to increase their adaptability, and to balance the psychic. The practical study proved the relationship between psychological defense mechanisms and coping strategies used by adolescents in difficult situations: constructive psychological defense mechanisms led to the choice of constructive coping strategies and vice versa, destructive defense mechanisms determined destructive coping strategies.

- Summary/Abstract:No social issue has attracted as much attention as homosexuality did. In Romania, scientific research on attitudes towards gay men and lesbian women is still poor.This paper summarizes the main findings of an exploratory study that aimed to determine the social representation of homosexuality among 375 Romanian university students. The participants completed a standardized task based on free association technique. The responses were analyzed lexically and semantically to differentiate the associations from a qualitative perspective. The structural approach was based on prototypical analysis.The results highlighted four dimensions of the social representation Romanian students have about homosexuality: a) a common representation (e.g., a different sexual orientation, boys/men, attraction between two persons of the same sex); b) a dimension related to desirable values of human existence (e.g., love); c) a pathological dimension (e.g., mental illness, abnormality/deviation); d) a religious dimension (e.g.,sin).

The method proved to be a tool able to identify both aggressor (harassing) and victim students, producing results comparable to those obtained by the APRI BT questionnaire, developed by Australian researcher H. Parada (2000) and adapted to the Romanian school population by Cluj researchers. In the second part of the study we verified the method of objective assessment through the classic personality tests: EPQ and self-esteem scale (Rosenberg).

- Summary/Abstract:Clinical psychologists and therapists look with amazement at the challenges brought by the technologies brought by the internet and more recently, by the pandemic, and examine with caution but also with professional curiosity the new approaches of the psychotherapist-beneficiary (client) relationship. Human interaction in psychotherapy takes place both face to face and at a distance for various reasons. Support and content in the client-psychologist relationship are key concepts in psychotherapy. For this reason it is natural to ask whether these are possible in distance therapy, considered by some authors to be an impersonal therapy. The present study wishes to receive an answer to this question as well as to the clients' motivations, advantages and disadvantages of online psychotherapy in the opinion of the beneficiaries of this form of human interaction and proposing suggestions for improving online psychotherapy.

- Summary/Abstract:Focusing on reciprocity between nature and humans can be the key to invigorating planetary health. The crisis triggered by the COVID-19 virus has shown a disoriented world, forced to suddenly accept uncertainty and risk. At the moment, everyone needs better information from governments, medical staff and social networks. Better information is needed to guide decisions, behaviors and actions and to monitor their impact. News and decisions are often contradictory, alarming and sometimes incoherent. Excessive statistics and information about the evolution of the virus create confusion, panic and some of the most contradictory behaviors. Many stand in line for vaccination, others completely reject the idea. Silent or vehement! The pandemic has brought worldwide solidarity, the awakening of altruism, the revival of pro-humanity feelings, sacrifices to save lives, a different attitude towards nature devastated by human actions. But the pandemic has also highlighted selfishness, discrimination, violence, indifference, xenophobia, racism. Violence and crime are on the rise, people are regressing morally. Health is already precarious and life is in danger. Nature is devastated, pollution is excessive, famines, droughts, fires, wars, attacks, diseases are more and more numerous, and some people do not seem to care. Materiality, consumerism and social networks have conquered. People imitate models and continue to use excess plastic, deforest forests, buy cars, clothes and much more as is the fashion. The global movement triggered by the virus has brought to the fore the truly serious problems of humanity: the health of humans and nature. The role of the cultural context for behaviors for human and planetary health is underlined, first of all, by the O.M.S, which in the agenda for 2030 emphasizes the need to consider cultural values as a key factor for health policies and systems. Cultural behaviors influence many phenomena, but for health, common beliefs, practices and conventional values have a profound impact through: nutrition, behaviors towards quality of life, environment and migration. Improving healthy policies and systems must take into account cultural contexts (WHO, 2020, Culture matters, p.9). The systematic neglect of culture in human and natural health is the biggest obstacle to advancing to a high standard of health worldwide (Napier, 2014). The idea of this paper is to invite everyone to reflect on the actions and behaviors that converge to save the planet and life; step by step, day by day. Without saying: I don't care! These are behaviors for the health of humans and the planet. Each of us can contribute to the real improvement of life on earth. The paper presents the results of a descriptive research, based on studies, research, official reports, which aimed at a brief presentation of the role of cultural behaviors on human health and nature.

- Keywords:social and emotional competencies; young school-age children; age and gender differences; comparative study;
- Summary/Abstract:Among children, the acquisition and development of social competencies is closely linked to emotional development. Social and emotional competencies influence how children interact with others (e.g., parents, peers or teachers), how they deal with their emotions, and how they react to the events that happen around them.A growing body of empirical evidence is revealing the value of children’s social and emotional competencies for positive social behaviors, quality of interactions with peers, adjustment of stressful demands, school achievements, psychological well-being, and mental health. Therefore, investigating children’s social and emotional competencies becomes of practical importance to educators, school counselors, and parents. The current study aimed to identify the level of development of social and emotional competencies according to the age and gender of young school-age children. Based on the answers given by the parents at two screening scales, we obtained profiles of social and emotional competencies for 100 children (52 girls and 48 boys) aged between 6 and 8 years. Comparative data revealed significant differences depending on the children’s age, but not on their gender. We discuss these findings based on the characteristics of social and emotional development at an early age.

Facilitating personal and institutional contacts, linguistic uniformity through communication in English, the tendency to align with professional training and evaluation according to similar criteria have significantly reduced the geographical differences in the present of our existence. In this context, it could happen that the representations of different social objects studied during sixty years are unique. People reconstruct the social object, re-evaluate it and, thus, the object exists only through the meaning offered by individuals.

However, this control is very vague, because it manifests itself only as long as the being is kept within the limits of ordinary stimuli. The emotional mind operates much faster than the rational one, throwing itself into action without weighing for a moment what it does. Prolonged periods in which emotions have a high flow without an effective mediation process can become prolonged states of disorganization. Addressing psychologists to master the mechanisms of emotion regulation will lead to greater accessibility to tolerance in emotionally charged situations
