Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the study of motivation characteristics, social status in the reference group and self-esteem in preadolescence. Experimental was demonstrated the interrelation between the learning motivation and the appreciation of his classmates, the sociometric status have an impact on the level of learning motivation in preadolescence.
