Summary/Abstract: Language diversity should be a cultural richness but sometimes in Spain seems that it becomes a problem. Opinions contrary to that multilingualism can influence in public opinion. This study complements another one where we studied the beliefs of the students in Fourth year of Compulsory Secondary Education. In this case, we extend the perspective to the beliefs of the teachers of that same course on the subject and the presence of linguistic diversity in the books used by those same students and teachers. The results show a contradiction between the favourable opinions of the students to the question posed and the little attention given by books and teachers to the study of something so important to unite society, as to integrate all the languages of the State.
