Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to study the issue of the value orientations formation in junior schoolchildren. This study examines the theoretical and practical aspects of this process. Value orientations are used to choose the direction of development and behavior of an individual. The value orientations are based on the value system, the formation of which relates right to the primary school age. In the educational process, the formation of value orientations is the result of cumulative activities of teachers, parents and students. Such joint educational work is aimed at mastering the value perception of the world by the individual and endowing the surrounding or abstract objects with a degree of significance, as well as determining his ownattitude towards them
