Summary/Abstract: Influence of the Bosnian language on the German language acquisition through examples of written tasks at B1 and B2 level. One of the most important issues in teaching a foreign language is the matter of influence from the mother tongue. It is assumed that structural similarities between two languages make the learning process easier and that grammatical and lexical similarities simplify the course of learning because the learners try intuitively and subconsciously to apply mother tongue language structures to the German language regardless of grammatical correctness. As the similarities do not always have the positive learning outcome this paper, based on a contrastive hypothesis, analyzes the most important characteristics in making interferential mistakes in writing tasks at B1 and B2 language level. The question is which interferential mistakes, caused by certain structures in Bosnian language, lead to negative language transfer. In order to show the interferential problem in German language learning, the analysis of the most common mistakes in authentic written texts is made.
