Summary/Abstract: The old requirements and knowledge of the conservation of numismatic materials, born rather from practice, were increased by the chemical work of K. Komárek121 It was especially after the Second World War that the importance of good catalogs of public museum collections as well as the great role of exhibitions which tend to highlight the economic function of money. Apart from the materials themselves, namely coins, this is done using photographs mounted on thick cardboard, graphic tables, maps, images, comparison tables, etc. // It can be concluded that during the years 1936 to 1960, the publications of Czechoslovak numismatists took off sharply. Because of the subjects of all the fields they offer us, until now, only a mosaic of analytical works. The fact remains that creative minds of the years to come can use it to draw an overall picture of the coinage of our countries.
