Summary/Abstract: This text aims to present parish religious education as an important part of the priest’s ministry in the parish community. Religious education at school and religious education/catechism training in parochial Sunday schools have been examined and analyzed. The role and ministry of the parish priest in religious education in the Orthodox Church is presented.
