Summary/Abstract: In the article, the author showed some activities related to the Bible in the Upper Silesian-Zagłębie region. They can become an inspiration for other Christian environments. He began his deliberations by referring to the documents of the Roman Catholic Church on ecumenism and referring to the Bible as a tool of unity. Then he presents the problem in three areas: oecumenismus spiritualis, oecumenismus scientialis, and oecumenismus practicalis. Finally, he presented an attempt at reception and indicated the prospects for ecumenical activities related to the Bible.
