Summary/Abstract: This paper describes selected aspects of a qualitative pilot study of remote teaching experiences of teachers of English to young learners. The study comprised interviews with twelve ESL teachers working with the youngest pupils in public and non-public kindergartens and primary schools, as well as in private language schools. The primary aim of the study was to find the answers to two research questions: What challenges did teachers of English to young learners face in delivering remote education? and What are the benefits of distance teaching according to English language teachers?
