Summary/Abstract: Foreign language didactics is now a well-established academic field, within which a considerable amount of research and studies are carried out. The present publication aims to further expand knowledge in the field of foreign language teaching and learning and to contribute to the improvement of research in this area. The texts included in the collection Research in Foreign Language Didactics III represent articles of students of the doctoral study programme Foreign Language Didactics organized at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University and which follow on from the online conference Research in Learning and Teaching Foreign Languages held on 5.11. 2020 at Masaryk University. In their contributions, the authors present partial results of their empirical research, i. e. review studies, in which they summarise and evaluate the current state of knowledge in selected research areas, as well as studies that outline the recent results of their dissertation research.
