Summary/Abstract: In this paper, we focus on the benefits of formative assessment for all participants in the educational process. Formative assessment is currently a topical issue and offers the teacher as a teaching manager many opportunities to get feedback on their practices and also allows students to get feedback on how they are learning. The paper also presents the basic methods of formative assessment, which can be applied to all types and levels of schools.
