Summary/Abstract: This paper is devoted to the memoir piece of workU Masarykovcov. Spomienky osobnej archivárky T. G.Masaryka, assembled from the diary records of Anna Horáková- -Gašparíková in 1995. The writings depict the last years of the president in office. Unlike most of the memoirs from the era, this particular piece of work displays not only political activities and opinions of the president, but also documents his personal characteristics and authentic opinions and beliefs presented in privacy. As a result of this, the work brings an unique perspective on presidentʼs life. This paper analyzes the work in terms of being a source of new information not only about the presidentʼs personality, but also about the author herself.
