Summary/Abstract: The study examines selected children books that deal with, in a very sensitive manner, with the topic of death through words and images. As a part of this study, a project is presented that was created to help meet the needs of the dying and the survivors through an alternative and individual approach. This approach should help them rediscover the inner resources and create meaningful rituals that bind together the survior community. This study demonstrates a possible route to opening up the conversation about death with children in an interactive way.
