Summary/Abstract: The paper aims to identify some of the changes in the supply chain brought by the Industry 4.0 phenomenon. The paper provides a theoretical overview of the supply chain’s evolution in the context of the four industrial revolutions and a brief analysis of the changes in supply chain processes. In conclusion, some characteristics (differences) between the traditional supply chain and the digital supply network, which is based on the Industry 4.0 technologies are presented.
