Summary/Abstract: Technical University of Liberec, Technical University of DresdenInternational Graduate School Zittau and Czech University of Life Sciences Prague within the framework of the cross-border co-operation project “Prameny spojují/Quellen verbinden” (Springs connecting landscapes and countries) applied mostly physical geographical studies in education. The project is providing resources and capacities to develop, implement and maintain practical education of students from all three institutions in the field of Earth, natural sciences as well as human sciences. Altogether 85 students have participated in the project activities and have been practically trained; moreover 6 Bachelor and 5 Maser theses were carried out up to now.
