Summary/Abstract: The aim of research is presentation of different view on self-licensing, the process when past moral behavior provides the license to behave against some standards or norms without worrying about one´s moral self-image. In goal attainment context we brought a new view of prospective self-licensing, where trying to attain goal works as license to do something immoral, but the goal attainment is highlited as a good reason to do so. In terms of clarification the basis of examined term we have used machiavellian approach and we also examine the relationship of self-licensing in goal pursuit with conscientiousness. The result findings are discussed in paper.
