Summary/Abstract: In this paper, we will try to present a clear view of the possibilities lying within translating tools, and emphasize the superiority of computer-assisted translation over machine translation. Based on our analysis, we will be able to state that translation environments can significantly improve translators’ work, contribute to the use of a consistent terminology and speed up the translation process.
