Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with the topic of mistakes in decision making of paramedics in conditions of simulated task of mass casualty incident. In this research participated 155 paramedics, whose task was to classify injured according to the START (Simple triage and rapid treatment) system. We analyze incidence of mistakes, tendency to undervalue and overvalue cases in the context of need for cognitive structure and preference for rationality and experientiality.
