Summary/Abstract: Contribution analyses connections between trust to selected societal institutions and income inequality. The aim is to delimit factors conditioning trust on international level, while part of the research explore impact of inequality in the context of Slovak sample. Trust is ascertained by standardized aggregate of questions of the sixth round of European Social Survey (ESS, 2012). Inequality is represented by mean of Gini coefficient, originating from several reliable sources: World Bank (2015), OECD (2014) and Luxembourg Income Study Database (LIS, 2015). Stated examinations will also take into consideration social class and political affiliation of respondents.
