Summary/Abstract: The presentation shows how to use folk texts (including those having regional features) during the lessons of Russian language with foreign learners. It contains the analysis of difficulties which the learners encounter during the process of adaptation to the culture and the language of other country. It includes examples of methodical techniques for minimization of such difficulties. It presents the value of folk texts for learning Russian foreign language and interpretation of other linguoculture. The author uses her experience of teaching Russian to foreign students of Faculty of Philology of Tomsk State University.
