Summary/Abstract: One of the effective methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language is the creative writing. Despite its active application, a number of issues remain unresolved. These include the uncertainty of the concept itself, the expediency of applying the method in the light of its practical need, the beginning of its use, etc. Therefore, the purpose of the article is associated with an attempt to consider ways to address these problems and to provide methods for their implementation.
