Summary/Abstract: The report examines current topics, related to the secondary utilization of waste products, which leads to lower energy consumption. Resource efficiency as an active state policy is a comprehensive, long-term framework for activities that the state is actively supporting in many areas, incl. waste, water, climate, energy, transport, industry, raw materials, agriculture, biodiversity. The guiding principle is to preserve the value of products, materials and resources as long as possible in the economic cycle, leading to sustainability in production and consumption, and from there to a preserved environment, competitiveness on the European market, new jobs, sustainable growth .
