Summary/Abstract: The tourism industry is a rapidly developing and growing industry all over the world. Along with this growth worldwide, the number of tourists participating in travel activities is constantly increasing. Although this increase in the number of tourists is expected to continue all over the world in the coming years, it is foreseen that there will be significant increases especially in the Asia-Pacific Region. It is thought that it will be important for Turkey, which needs alternative tourism markets, to take advantage of the opportunities and opportunities that this region will offer. Turkey has been in different economic, cultural and social relations with many of the countries in the Asia Pacific region in the historical process. However, it seems difficult to express that these relations have reached an intense commercial, social and economic level. In order for Turkey to get the desired share from the potential tourism demand in the Asia-Pacific region, it is necessary to keep the dialogues between countries warm and move them to higher levels. Taking a marketing action considering the travel motivations of the tourists coming from the Asia-Pacific regions will be an important gain for Turkey. In this study, the socio-economic and demographic structure of the Asia-Pacific Region, which stands out in terms of tourist wealth, the tourism market, the travel motivations of the tourists and the importance of the region in terms of tourism in Turkey were examined.
