Summary/Abstract: The pressure to provide high-quality food for a growing population makes it challenging to investigate viable solutions to find alternative food sources to meet the rising food demand. As a result of changed lifestyles, millets have emerged as a crucial and essential part of the diet plans of people all over the world. The goal of the study is to investigate how farmers benefit from public-private partnership (PPP) models as well as the value chain models in question. To determine the influence of various models on millet growers' farming before and after implementation, a study on various PPP models in millet cultivation has been done. The data was collected from a total of 114 farmers of four districts of Maharashtra. According to the study, connecting all stakeholders throughout the value chain system would renew and uplift the diminishing sorghum area and production, with the ultimate economic benefits.
