Summary/Abstract: The paper provides and overview of basic KPI’s related to labour force availability, need, demographics and transformation in the transport sector of the EU and Bulgaria. An analysis is provided about basic figures like GDP, job vacancies, unemployment as a result of COVID-19 pandemic influence, as well as how far these figures are affected by the pandemic itself or they are a result of other, more sustainable influence.
