Summary/Abstract: This article constitutes another part of my research on the history of teaching Polish as a foreign language in the world. My focus is on the first summer course in Polish culture and language for foreigners, organized in September 1928, which was dedicated specifically to the Italian group of professors and students of Slavic and Polish philology. I also explore a very dynamic growth of Polish studies in Italy in the 1920s and 1930s.
