Summary/Abstract: Employment policy in the field of the labor market is an important part of the general economic policy. It concerns the development of human capital and its proper implementation leads to the social development of nations. The main task of the European Employment Strategy, as a component of the employment policy of the European Union, is to establish, maintain and coordinate a set of common objectives of the Member States of the Union. It is a platform for increasing the level of employment and tackling unemployment.
