Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of an anonymous online survey among online users on whether they believe they can identify fake news and what is their attitude toward sources of information and digital literacy during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results are discussed in the context of the media literacy field. Two big groups of respondents are identified– users who believe they can identify fake news and users who are unsure. The main characteristics of both groups are outlined as a result and recommendations for future media literacy practices are offered.
