Summary/Abstract: This work introduces 14 selected empirical studies focusing on the area of continuous professional development of primary English language teachers. For the lack of research found on the given topic, related studies were added discussing continuous professional development of all primary and lower secondary school teachers and English language teachers at pre-schools, secondary and tertiary institutions.
