Environmental protection is a major issue of the last decade debated worldwide, a fact that has given rise to numerous disputes between developed and developing countries. Our environmental policies ensure a clean environment for the health of the country's inhabitants, decrease poverty and environmental damage, ensure economic growth for the benefit of current and future generations, and harmonize specific environmental legislation with that of the European Union. But, without behavioral transformations from human beings' side and our education in this sense, sustainable development can’t be ensured.
