However, rapid urbanization and industrialization have led to the degradation of these vital water bodies. This paper aims to explore the benefits of integrating urban rivers into the fabric of cities through comprehensive planning and effective management strategies. Drawing on a thorough review of pertinent literature and insightful case studies, we delve into the potential advantages of such integration, including ecological restoration, enhancement of water quality, provision of recreational opportunities, and fostering community revitalization.
