Summary/Abstract: The following research is a brief review on the topic of the consequences of the adoption of the Euro for the Bulgarian economy. Using three argumentative pillars, the authors examine the main arguments for changing the country’s national currency, which, according to the report, would result in more opportunities to attract investment, international exchange and economic growth. The good practices of the accession of Lithuania and Croatia to the financial structure of the Eurozone were examined, and acute macroeconomic turbulence was not registered in either country.
