Summary/Abstract: Cybersecurity in critical infrastructures is a major concern in the contemporary world. As people are increasingly dependent on technology and digitally interconnected, cybersecurity has become a vital element in protecting critical infrastructures. This interdependence brings risks and threats to the fundamental systems that support the functioning of modern society. Governments, organizations, and society as a whole must protect critical infrastructure against cyber threats by implementing advanced technical cybersecurity measures, creating integrated policies and strategies, fostering collaboration between the public and private sectors, and continuously investing in research and development to anticipate and counter emerging threats in the cybersecurity domain.
