Hence, a new branch of linguistics evolved – avialinguistics – as an interdisciplinary branch of applied linguistics. Aviation language has become a regular object of international study. The research context covers current linguistics problems of aviation. The main objective of the new study is to prepare theoretical bases for the application of necessary solutions that are to improve aeronautical communications and at the same time flight safety. The paper presents avialinguistics with its objects, aims and tasks.
