Summary/Abstract: The publication discusses the legal nature of the statutes of administrative institutions, specifically hospitals, and their impact on the legal situation of the recipients of these institutions. The aim of the publication is to point out the differences in the legal nature of hospital statutes given by entities with different legal status, which in practice determine the possibility or impossibility of verification of specific statutes by an administrative court, which, in turn, translates into a different degree of protection of the constitutional and statutory rights of individuals in the field of health care. The analysis in this publication was carried out using the dogmatic method, consisting in the analysis of legal provisions and statements of jurisprudence and legal doctrine.
