Summary/Abstract: Inventing new personal conveyors (such as e-scooters, electric unicycles, hoverboards) was noticed relatively late by the Polish legislature. What is even more intriguing, is the fact that drafting the provisions regarding personal transportation devices (PTD) took almost five years. That time was also the period in which the status of PTD and their users liability was uncertain. The article presents the whole legislative procedure concerning personal transportation devices and tries to make conclusions regarding that matter.
