Summary/Abstract: In the context of the increasingly complex economic situation in recent years, the need for companies to be more efficient in supply chain management stands out in order to respond more adequately to the changing economic and geopolitical environment. The research was carried out on the basis of a literature review on the given topic. The report focuses on the transformative effect of digitization in supply chain management in the non-ferrous metallurgy sector. The example of Aurubis AG for the implementation of innovative technological solutions is examined. The main benefits of digitization in supply chain management are identified – increased awareness, improved visualization, optimization of supply chain performance and reduction of decision-making time. The report highlights the key role of digitization in modernizing and optimizing supply chain activities in the non-ferrous metallurgy sector, paving the way for a more sustainable and competitive future.
