Summary/Abstract: In today's market environment, the focus of competition is shifting from individual organizations to individual supply chains. This, in turn, raises issues related to supply chain competitiveness. On the other hand, technology is developing at an incredible pace and its application in supply chains is of increasing importance. The purpose of this report is to identify the leading technologies related to supply chain competitiveness. The development is limited to establishing the benefits and connections of two technology trends. The main results reveal that the use of technologies – „Big Data“ and „Internet of Things“ can be essential for the competitiveness of the supply chain
